I guess since all the Global Warming "facts" of the past are fake, a Climate "Summit" was held, it was decided a by the newly formed "Task Force" that we needed a new Global Warming "CZAR" this position will soon be filled, to find real AGW.

If you want to see something funny, you should see the deniers (a small minority) that work with the agency. What do ya do when you don't want to believe something, but it pays for your work? haha!

It really doesn't bother me that it creates work for NASA. But what does really chap my ass is knowing that the wall street asshats are going to have access to the cap and trade funds.

I don't quite follow, but you've heard, man made global warming is not real.....

So NASA isn't going to spend money going to the moon, but being paid to exist, to find something that isn't real.

Global warming, climate change, politics... who cares?

To brush it all off and simply say it's not worth paying attention to is foolish. The bottom line is stuff is getting pumped into the air in large quantities all over the planet. Someone has to do something besides argue and say it doesn't matter.

People are going to argue about the numbers and what they mean forever. That's politics. Science has to look past that and watch things from above objectively, and do the best job it can. NASA people have been doing this for decades, before the political crap started. I was working for a NASA climate guy when I was in college in 84-85. It's nothing new.

People like Al Gore mean well, but they are hurting science by politically exploiting it, and it just causes backlash.

I agree with Ed (I think). The last people I want to see involved is Wall Streeters.

Too late, the carbon trading/green index is more heavily traded than the traditional DOW right now. Think of it like tech stocks in 99.

You all realize it doesnt have to be Wall St, long ago in the 1700's it was the british that blew up the south seas bubble and before that it was the Dutch with the flower boom.. and after Wall St there will be another trading capital where mankind can trade whatever they want. Thats life, get used to it.

I know "that's life" but it doesn't make it logical.
